Welcome to The Surry Area Free Clinic (SAFC)!
SAFC is a private non-profit tax exempt 501 (c)(3)
organization located in Surry, Virginia. It was incorporated in 1994
and provides "free" medical, pharmaceutical, dental and
health education services to income eligible, uninsured citizens of
Surry, Isle of Wight, Prince George, Southampton and Sussex
counties.
SAFC is operated with volunteers which include:
Board of directors
Medical director
Executive director
Physicians
Nurses
Support staff
One part-time office manager
These professionals provide comprehensive healthcare services to the
patients.
Additionally, through cooperative agreements with other healthcare
professionals, hospitals, and mental health professionals, the
clinic is able to provide specialty treatments for patients without
personal cost to the patient.

Grant & Donation Information |
| SAFC received a grant of $86,300 from the Obici healthcare Foundation to prepare plans for clinic building and to develop a plan of action to expand and improve programs of the clinic. |
| SAFC received a donation of $4,000.00 from the employees of Dominion Virginia Power, Surry Power Station. |
